About Omar Roushdy - product engineer, technical PM, and full-stack developer in Alexandria, Egypt

I come from design. Before I wrote a single line of code, I was building brand identities, social media systems, and visual communications for businesses across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. That experience gave me something most engineers don't have: an instinct for how things should look and feel - not just how they work.

The software world pulled me in during my Computer & Communications Engineering degree at Alexandria University. I started competitive programming, dove into web development, and quickly realized that the real value was at the intersection: someone who could think like a designer, build like an engineer, and communicate like a product manager.

That's the role I've been building toward ever since.
